"A person's life purpose is nothing more than to rediscover,
through the detours of art, or love, or passionate work,
those one or two images in the presence of which his heart
first opened."

Thriftstore Cookbooks (I am enjoying The Benevolent Bean)
I am a poet, I am in love. I am a wallflower with a dirty mind. I am more impressed by scars than money. I wish more people would take to writing letters.I also wish people knew the meaning of personal space. (I am looking at you my fellow Chicago Red Line riders!)I want to live in Paris for at least three years.
One of my favorite writers you have never heard of, (don't you hate that assumption?) James Purdy.
